Strawberry margarita cocktail.An excellent tequila based mixed drink recipe. Very easy to make.
Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

• strawberry sugar (recipe follows)
• 1 lime wedge
• 1 1/2 oz (45 ml) blue agave blanco tequila
• 3/4 oz (25 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 oz (30 ml) Aperol
• 1 1/2 oz (45 ml) strawberry pure (see recipe below)
• fresh strawberry for garnish

1. In a small food processor,combine equal parts of freeze-dried strawberries and granulated sugar.
2. Process until smooth.

To Make Strawberry Puree:

1. In a blender or food processor,combine 2 cups strawberry halves and 1/2 cup sugar.
2. Process until smooth.
3. Keep in storage container.
