Slow cooker Oriental chicken wings. Chicken wings with soy sauce,dry sherry wine,ginger and garlic cooked in slow cooker.An excellent appetizer!

Ingredients:
32 chicken wings
1 cup (250 ml) soy sauce
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) dry sherry wine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic,peeled and minced
chopped green onions for garnish

Cooking Method:
- Preheat broiler.
- Broil chicken wings for about 5 minutes per side.Transfer to slow cooker.
- In a mixing bowl,combine soy sauce,brown sugar,dry sherry,ginger and garlic.Mix well.
- Pour mixture over chicken wings in slow cooker.Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours.
- Open slow cooker.Using a tongs,transfer cooked chicken wings into serving platter.Pour cooking liquid over.Sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve.
