Pot Roast with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

To cook this roast beef in slow cooker we take the following ingredients:
  • 2-lb boneless boneless beef chuck roast
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 10 3/4-oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Cooking Method:
Place roast beef in slow cooker.Sprinkle with dry soup mix and top with mushroom soup.Cover and cook on High 1 hour,and then on Low 8 hours,or until meat is tender.
Slice. Serve hot,using roasted potatoes or noodles as a garnish.

This roast beef recipe belongs to Russian cuisine.To cook it we take the following ingredients:
  • 2-3 lbs. shoulder roast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 onion,sliced in rings
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
Cooking Method:Put roast beef in slow cooker.Sprinkle with spices(salt,freshly ground black pepper and salt).Arrange onion rings on top.Dissolve beef bouillon cube in boiling water and pour resulting mixture over beef roast.
Cover and cook on Low 10-12 hours,or on High 5-6 hours.Serve with mashed potatoes.
