Slow cooker Cajun shrimp and rice. Shrimp with vegetables cooked in slow cooker. Right after you put shrimp in slow cooker to heat through,bake the corn bread twists to serve with this delicious and easy dish.
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
28 oz (840 ml) can tomatoes,cut up
14 oz (420 ml) can chicken broth
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped green peppers
6 oz (180 g) package long grain and wild rice mix
1/4 cup (60 ml) water
2 cloves garlic,peeled and chopped
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 pound (480 g) cooked shrimp

Cooking method:
In a slow cooker,combine tomatoes with their juices,chicken broth,green peppers,rice mix with seasoning package,water,water,garlic and Cajun seasoning.
Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours.
Stir shrimp into cooked rice mixture.
Cover slow cooker and cook on high heat setting for a further 15 minutes.
