Slow Cooker Oriental Chicken Wings

Slow cooker Oriental chicken wings. Chicken wings with soy sauce,dry sherry wine,ginger and garlic cooked in slow cooker.An excellent appetizer!
Makes 32 appetizers

32 chicken wings
1 cup (250 ml) soy sauce
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) dry sherry wine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic,peeled and minced
chopped green onions for garnish

Cooking Method:
  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Broil chicken wings for about 5 minutes per side.Transfer to slow cooker.
  3. In a mixing bowl,combine soy sauce,brown sugar,dry sherry,ginger and garlic.Mix well.
  4. Pour mixture over chicken wings in slow cooker.Stir well.
  5. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours.
  6. Open slow cooker.Using a tongs,transfer cooked chicken wings into serving platter.Pour cooking liquid over.Sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve.
