Barbecued Green Beans in Slow Cooker

Ingredients for barbecued green beans:
  • 1 lb(450g) bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups green beans
Cooking Method:
  1. Cook bacon in nonstick skillet until crisp.
  2. Break it into pieces.
  3. Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
  4. Sate onions in bacon drippings.
  5. Combine together ketchup,sugar,sauce and salt.
  6. Stir into bacon and onions.
  7. Pour mixture over green beans and mix lightly.
  8. Pour mixture into slow cooker and cook,setting on low for 6-8 hours.
  9. Barbecued green beans are ready.Serve them hot.
