Spicy Korean-style chicken wings.Adapted from http://sweetpeasandsaffron.com Grilled chicken wings and tossed in tasty,homemade spicy sesame-honey sauce.Yummy!
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
3 pounds (1.44 kg) chicken wings
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons minced ginger
2 tablespoons dry sherry
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 cup (60 ml) clear honey
1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
2 tablespoons chili-garlic sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
chopped fresh scallions for garnish
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Ingredients:

Cooking Method:
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Sprinkle chicken wings with salt and black pepper.
- Grill in preheated grill for 40 minutes,turning occasionally (wings should be golden and crispy).
- Meanwhile,heat olive oil in small saucepan.
- Add minced ginger and saute for 2 minutes or until ginger is cooked through.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and cook,stirring,for a further 2 minutes.
- Remove grilled chicken wings from the grill.
- Toss them well in spicy sauce.
- Sprinkle with chopped scallions and serve.
