Slow cooker creamy seafood chowder. Delicious chowder cooked in slow cooker.
Makes 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
4 cups (1 L) half-anf-half
2 cans (14 1/2 oz (435 ml) each)) whole white potatoes,drained and cubed
2 cans (10 3/4 oz (325 ml)each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 bag (16 oz (480g) frozen hash brown potatoes
1 medium yellow onion,peeled and minced
1 stick unsalted butter,cubed
1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
5 cans (8 oz (240 ml) each) whole oysters,drained and rinsed
2 cans (6 oz (180 ml) each) minced clams
2 cans (4 oz (130 ml) each cocktail shrimp,drained and rinsed

Cooking method:
- In a slow cooker,combine half-and-half,potatoes,mushroom soup,onion,cubed butter and seasoning.
- Mix well.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 3 1/2- 4 1/2 hours.
- Add oysters,clams and shrimp.Mix well.
- Cover slow cooker and cook for a further 30-45 minutes or until seafood is done.
