Grilled pork steaks with pineapple. Pork with pineapples,soy sauce and vegetables grilled on charcoal grill.
Very easy and delicious recipe!
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

• 20 oz (600 ml) can sliced pineapples
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) soy sauce
• 1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup (60 g) minced onion
• 1/2 garlic clove,peeled and crushed
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 6 pork shoulder steaks,cut into 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) thick

Cooking Method:

1. Drain 6 pineapple slices,reserving 1/4 cup (60 ml) liquid from pineapples.
2. In a baking pan,combine reserved pineapple liquid,soy sauce,vegetable oil,onion,garlic and brown sugar.
3. Mix well.
4. Place pork steaks in marinade.Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours,turning once.
5. About 40 minutes before serving,prepare you grill.
6. Remove marinated pork steaks from refrigerator and arrange on hot grill.
7. Grill for 15 minutes,brushing with marinade once.
8. Meanwhile,place pineapple slices in pan of marinade,turning to coat both sides.Place pan on grill while steaks are cooking to heat pineapple slices.
9. Flip steaks and grill for a further 15 minutes,spooning remaining marinade over steak once,until pork is thoroughly cooked and fork tender.

Seared scallops with saffron sauce. Sea scallops with delicious saffron sauce.Very easy to make!

Ingredients:

• 6 tablespoons unsalted butter,divided
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 12 large sea scallops,patted dry
• 1 cup (250 ml) dry white wine
• 2 tablespoons heavy cream
• pinch of saffron threads
• salt and freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Method:

1. In a large nonstick skillet,melt 2 tablespoons unsalted butter and olive oil.
2. Add sea scallops,sprinkle with salt and black pepper,and sear well on both sides,turning once.
3. Remove seared scallops from the skillet and set aside,kipping warm.
4. Add dry white wine to hot pan and de-glaze pan.
5. Reduce heat to low and allow to wine to reduce by half.
6. Stir in heavy cream and remaining butter.Once butter is combined,add saffron threads.
7. Stir well.
8. Return seared scallops to the skillet.Turn well to coat.

Ingredients:

• 1 oz (30 ml) melon liqueur
• 1 oz (30 ml) gold tequila
• 1 oz (30 ml) cranberry juice

Method:

1. In a shaker filled with ice,combine all ingredients.
2. Shake well.
3. Strain mixture into cocktail glass.

Oven baked teriyaki chicken wings. Chicken wings with teriyaki and soy sauces baked in oven. Very easy and delicious recipe! Adapted from http://food2please.com
Makes 4 servings

• 2 pounds (960 g) Buffalo cut chicken wings
• 1 bottle teriyaki sauce
• soy sauce
• chopped fresh green onions

Cooking Method:

1. Pour teriyaki sauce to the large zip-lock bag.
2. Add chicken wings and toss well to coat completely.
3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
4. Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C).
5. Grease baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
6. Remove chicken wings form refrigerator and arrange together with marinade on greased baking sheet. Pour a little soy sauce over.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 90 minutes,turning chicken wings occasionally.
8. Remove baked teriyaki chicken wings from the oven.

• 2 cups (500 ml) water
• 8 oz (240 g) package pasteurized process cheese spread,sliced
• 2 tablespoons dry sherry

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup (60 ml) orange-flavored liqueur
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice
• 2 tablespoons brandy
• 1 pound fresh strawberries,cut into halves
• 1/2 cup (125 g) heavy (double) cream
• 1 1/2 tablespoons caster(superfine) sugar

Cooking Method:

1. In a small mixing bowl,combine liqueur,orange juice and brandy.Mix well.
2. Add halved strawberries to brandy mixture.Refrigerate for 1 hour,spooning liquid over strawberries occasionally.
3. In another mixing bowl,whisk double cream until frothy.Stir in caster sugar and beat until soft peaks form.
4. Spoon strawberries into sherbet dishes and top with whipped cream.

Banana pops recipe. Very delicious breakfast recipe.Children love this dessert!
Makes 12 pops

Ingredients:

• 3 tablespoons water
• 2 teaspoons ascorbic-acid mixture for fruit
• 4 large bananas,peeled and sliced crosswise into thirds
• 1 package wooden ice cream-bar sticks
• 1/2 cup (125 g) shredded coconut
• 1/2 cup (125 g) toasted shredded coconut
• 6 oz (180 g) package semisweet-chocolate pieces
• 2 tablespoons oil

Cooking Method:

1. In a large mixing bowl,combine water and ascorbic-acid mixture.
2. Mix well until dissolved. Gently toss bananas in mixture until well coated. 
3. Insert wooden stick about 1-inch (2.5 cm) deep into end of each banana piece. 
4. Arrange on cookie sheet.Refrigerate until firm (for about 45 minutes). 
5. Meanwhile,place each kind of coconut on a small plate. 
6. In double boiler,over hot,not boiling water,melt chocolate pieces with oil,stirring occasionally. 
7. Pour mixture into pie plate. 
8. Remove frozen bananas from freezer and quickly roll in chocolate mixture.
9. Roll half bananas in shredded coconut and another half in toasted shredded coconut. 
10. Return banana pops to cookie sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
